Aislinn Martolano
Owner & Head Coach
Aislinn, a lifelong Alaskan, began weightlifting at a local CrossFit gym in 2018 to help improve her quality of life and improve athletic performance. From there she earned her Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certificate, worked in a physical therapy clinic helping people recover from injuries, then went on to become a CF-L2 Crossfit Instructor, and a USAW Coach. Aislinn takes influence from functional medicine, physical therapy practices, and both Eastern and Western medicine. Aislinn’s passion for people and the human body drives her to encourage all people that they are stronger and capable of more than they believe. Her mission is to share the joy of what strength training can do for not only your body, but also your mind and your life.

Robyn Feder Shepard
Assistant Coach
Robyn was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska and first learned Olympic weightlifting while living in New Mexico in 2008 at a local Crossfit gym. She then trained to become a nationally ranked Olympic weightlifter from 2015-2019 and has competed in University Nationals, the American Open Series, American Open Finals, and earned a spot at senior Nationals in 2019. Her heart and passion is in teaching this sport to athletes of all experience levels, and working with competitive and recreational athletes alike. Robyn is a nationally board certified and licensed Physical Therapist Asst at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, and is back to lifting at a National level again. Robyn is CPR certified through Red Cross and holds a current USAW coaches certification.

Kelsey Enochs
Assistant Coach
Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, Kelsey began to learn Olympic weightlifting in 2011 at her local Crossfit gym. In 2013, she started to compete and focused solely on Olympic weightlifting. For the last 10 years, she has heard numerous women share their desire to get stronger, but say they were intimidated and confused about how to get started with weightlifting. In response, it has become Kelsey’s mission to invite women to weight lift, and teach the foundations of Olympic weightlifting. Her goal as a coach at Fairbanks Barbell Club is to welcome people of every size, shape and color to the platform, making sure they know how to lift safely and get stronger every year.

Gabby Mowery
Assistant Coach
Gabby, now an army veteran, started Olympic weightlifting as a junior athlete in 2016. Her adoration for Olympic weightlifting has only increased. Gabby says learning Olympic weightlifting is riddled with victories. Her goal for coaching at Fairbanks barbell club is to assist in facilitating a welcoming, educational, and encouraging environment for all athletes to achieve their goals and celebrate all the victories throughout the process. She says, “ I hope to do for others what my coaches before have done for me. To not only build the technical skills of an athlete, but also their confidence both on and off the platform.”
